The HDPac^®4 – is MaxVision’s most popular removable hard drive magazine. It is used in the MaxPac X Class. It is also popular with the TeraPac3 and MaxCube where two HDPac4 magazines can installed. Almost all users configure this as a Raid 5 array. A typical Raid 5 set using 750GB drives yields more than 2TB of fault tolerant storage.

Because of the HDPac’s relatively low cost and fault tolerance, along with its compact size, speed and capacity, many are using the HDPac family as a replacement for tape archive.
