MaxPac® M Class Personal Rugged Portable Briefcase Computer Workstation – The MaxPac M Class is targeted at the individual power user whose applications can fit within the limits of the latest Intel Core 2 Duo technology.

MaxVision®MaxPac Portables are a new breed of rugged commercial/industrial PCs designed using a unique box-in-box shock mount system designed to be tough enough for many military and security applications but offered at a COTS price. MaxPac’s desktop footprint is one of the smallest in the industry but features a larger LCDs than found on than any other portable computer. Included in the MaxPacs are full-size keyboards, a mouse, and a rich set of standard I/O such as Gigabit Ethernet, USB 2.0 and Firewire 800.

Two options are available and can be configured to suit the user’s purpose. The (MaxPac8080M family) can be configured with either two PCI slots or one PCIe x 16 slot and one PCI slot. The(MaxPac8080M)uses the integrated motherboard graphics and both slots are available for data capture and interface options. The (MaxPac8090M family)uses the PCIe x16 slot to support high performance video controllers with one PCI slot available for other lower performance options.

Each of these configurations has the option of either two fixed or two removable SATA hard drives allowing up to 1.5TB of integrated HD storage. Support for a single full length PCI or PCIe slot using a single fixed hard drive can be configured with the MaxPac8080M. A dual display option is available on the MaxPac8090M. Touch screen capabilities are available only on a single screen MaxPac8090M.
